When there are items that are not used this creates waste. This waste is what is polluting our land and waters. A few simple things one can do to help reduce waste include: using a refillable water bottle instead of plastic bottles, taking reusable bags to the grocery store to reduce use of plastic bags, and choosing products that can use power rather than batteries.
